Krabi, Ao Nang and what to do

The Krabi region of Thailand is probably the most photographed and beautiful and offers everything to the discerning visitor. The magical tropical islands, incredible landscape, nature and diving draw visitors from all over the world. The infrastructure grows daily at a rapid rate with international access from the expanding airport. In the very near future Krabi will benefit from first-class medical facilities, an international school, first rate shopping and championship golf.
Coupled with an affordable cost of living it is easy to see why Krabi is a great place either to visit or to invest.
Krabi has a total area of nearly 5,000 sq km and population of 350,000. Krabi's mountainous land is broken by highlands and plains on the mainland. The province covers more than 130 islands in the Andaman Sea.
Having tropical monsoon weather, Krabi has just two seasons: hot from December to April (perfect to escape the northern winters!) and rainy season from May to November. Temperatures range between 17 and 37 degrees Celsius and the yearly rainfall averages 2,568.5 mm.
